With over 30 years of dedicated experience in the mental health field, I bring a depth of understanding and compassion to my practice. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor, my journey has been rich and rewarding. Currently, I am expanding my expertise even further as a PhD candidate in Counselor Education. My training encompasses a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This comprehensive skill set allows me to adapt to your unique needs, ensuring that the therapy we engage in is as individual as you are. Our journey together is collaborative. With over eight years of experience in the mental health field, I am a licensed therapist based in Virginia, specializing in helping adults navigate interpersonal trauma. My mission is to empower you with the tools and insights necessary to break free from the cycles of trauma and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life. I understand how past experiences can influence the present, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as you explore this transformative process with care, empathy, and understanding.
